Who would like to have a nice boss?
Now, I know most, if not all bosses, are completely rude and annoying. I am quite sure that they know it themselves too and yet do nothing to change their behavior. Maybe it’s because they do not want to be too lenient towards their employees.
Whatever the reason, you can usually only hear rude remarks about their boss from an employee’s mouth behind the boss’s back of course. Jenn, however, is not like that, and neither is her boss.
You see, she might be the perfect employee as she has never been late to work for almost eight years that she has worked. So when she was a tiny bit late one day, she messaged her boss to tell him the honest reason behind her tardiness.
Jenn texted her boss when she realized that she would be late to work that day.
However, when her boss got worried she was quick to answer.
And I personally think her reason for being late is very relatable and well-deserved.
The boss even explained the reason behind why he gave these two tickets to the baseball game.
It was because Jenn has always been the ‘Mom’ of the group.
And the only time she did miss a work day was when her kid had his wisdom teeth removed.
I agree wholeheartedly, although that can be very hard.
15 minutes late doesn’t sound too bad as long as it’s not every day.
Unsurprisingly, people wanted to work for this fantastic boss.
Where can I find one of these mythical ‘nice’ bosses?
However, a few minutes late didn’t sound like a big deal to many of the commenters.
And many had a few useful pointers to give.
What about you? Do you think a few minutes late is not a big deal or was the boss way too ‘nice’? Comment on below and let us know.
