Artist Illustrates What It’s Like Being Gay Ten Years Ago VS Now And Its Hilariously Accurate

Time heals all wounds.

But not necessarily the ones that the LGBTQ community has accumulated over the years. While we have come leaps and bounds ahead from where we were ten years ago, there is still a very long way to go.

Which is quite sad but we are not here to be sad today. Because today we will focus on all the good things that have happened in all these years. And how so many intolerable people have changed and become quite accepting.

Coming out is never easy, but thankfully so many people are beginning to accept being part of the LGBTQ community as ‘normal.’ Which is how it should be! So rather than reading me babbling, scroll on below and just look at all that has changed in the past ten years.

#1 Wait, Who and what is Chase Bank?

#2 Even the guy who was intolerable before? That is actually not at all surprising.

#3 I don’t know, There aren’t that many lesbians on TV.

#4 So grandma’s remained the same then?

#5 Okay, He is so rude though!

Do you think these are actually true? Has the world really changed that much in 10 years or are these illustrations a bit too far-fetched? What was your experience like when you came out? Were your parents as accepting?
